The MBC is a passion project for me as I was once a small business owner on Gulfport Boulevard and truly understand the struggles of owning and operating a small business on a busy county road. I visited Gulfport in October of 2020 and quickly realized I needed to make it my forever home. I have been here ever since and am committed to preserving the quirkiness and character that makes Gulfport unique while supporting the growth and success our business community.

Erin and Aimee met during their tenure with the Gulfport Merchants Chamber. Aimee was hired as the Event Coordinator and then Executive Director. Erin was the Arts Committee Chair on the Board of Directors. They quickly realized they had a unique and creative connection that grew stronger while they worked on various projects for the GMC.

I have enjoyed raising my two sons in such a supportive, creative little town and have had the pleasure of being involved in local non-profits, and community building projects over the years. Hello! I discovered the magic of Gulfport in 2011 and relocated with my family from the NYC area shortly after. I have enjoyed raising my two sons in such a supportive, creative little town and have had the pleasure of being involved in local non-profits, and community building projects over the years. Watching the area change significantly since my arrival has inspired my desire to take an active role in supporting the growth of small businesses that to me represent the charm and quirky character of the city I love.
